our story

For my early years, I have always wanted to be able to give to good works but had nothing to give. This made me feel disappointed at times with myself. The feeling of low self-esteem, coupled my being written off by people; and even being called me “worthless” by some were the daily hurdles I encountered.  I was always overjoyed to give to others and this was a characteristic of my beloved parents.

There were many days that I would cry out to God to make a way  for me. The words of my prayers were often, “Lord take away my reproach, give me something like you have to done for Anna when she prayed for a son because she became tired of being mocked and looked down on, and was tired of the shame she bore.”

I have been been through a lot but thank God I don’t look like what I been through because God kept me.

Many brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ; total strangers came together and gave me the initial start. God did this!   I learned that my faith glorifies God because it is a future-oriented confidence in God’s integrity and power and wisdom to follow through on all His promises.

What God has done for me He will do for those who put their trust and hope in Him. He will make what seems impossible to us possible. He will make beautiful things out of ashes. He is a Way Maker, Miracle Worker and YES! He’s The Light in the darkness!

When people has given up on you, remember, God is constant and He won’t give up on you. The words of a song written by Guy Chambers and Robbie Williams that really depicts my journey. The lyrics are,

“Something beautiful, something good

All my confusion He understood

All I had to offer Him was brokenness and strife

But he made something beautiful of my life.”
